9. Group Task Allocation Grid 15

8. Production Set Up Reflection

This is my house where we filmed an argument between Raj and Sonia late at night. This is one of the rooms that we had begun to record in however due to a lighting issue as there was a large window in the room, we had to move our filming to the next one.

We had begun production on the 6th of April where I had struggled to get actors as the original actors had a very busy schedule. I (Dilly) definitely struggled the most as I had a hard time finding the right actors whom I found fitted the role. I had overcome this difficulty by finding new actors who had the time and they were perfect.

My brother had played a role in our opening sequence as well to play a small part in the opening sequence. As he is under 18 years old, we had gotten permission from his guardian so that he could act in front of the camera. Taran was very excellent at listening to instructions and was great at showing facial expressions and emotions.

Both of the actors were very successful in understanding the story and the characters they had to portray. They understood their characters and the personality they had to play.
Seema and Kishen (the two actors/actresses) even improvised their roles and even gave ideas of their own that we could use. We were a great team and we worked really well with each other.

On the 17th of April we had planned to film at Alexandra Palace, however because the place is quite far, we have decided to go to Fairlop Waters as they have nice views there and it is a quiet place to film meaning less cars driving past. This also makes it less dangerous to film for us as we will not be in the way of incoming vehicles.
On this day we filmed the wreckless driving scenes using an adults car and drove it around Fairlop Waters. We had faced some difficulties as we could not convey the right angles of the car. We had drove around a roundabout on Forest Road near Hainault Road as it wasn't as busy as other roads.

Our group were prepared to go to Victoria Park to film our beginning of the opening sequence. We had decided that all the parks looked similar so we would choose a closer park instead that was in the area.

We had then decided to visit Raphaels Park which is located in Romford to film my friend Keshav who was prepared to be one of our actors. On the way to the location we had explained to Keshav our idea so that when it came to filming he fully understood his role and character he had to play out.

We all worked really well and he took my directing instructions clearly and carried them out well as he acted really well in front of the camera. We all worked together really well and had fun as well as being serious when filming. We potentially had to film different angles of Keshav and took many Establishing Shots.  Also, the location went really well with what we wanted to show in the shots and had really beautiful sceneries. It made the actor look innocent as well as the villain of our film.

Alexandra Palace

We have chosen to use Alexandra Palace as one of our locations as we think it will best suit our opening sequence and will make it seem more realistic. Creatively I think it is best as the building is very detailed and will set the scene best when filmed at night. Technically I think it is the best as it gives off the best lighting for our filming and will create a tense atmosphere. Practically it's not the best location as we will need to travel for quite a bit to get there.

Victoria Park
